  • Produce Civil design layouts which are cost effective, meet the requirements of the specification and which can be constructed and commissioned effectively.

  • Monitor and review the procedures and processes

  • Order of cost estimates and option studies.

  • Cost plans.

  • Cost-in-use studies.

  • Preparation and settlement of final accounts.

The role will be to undertake both estimating and quantity surveying duties, working alongside the Commercial Manager. Responsibilities include: Review/prepare tender documents, including take offs and BOQ’s Producing accurate tender packages Price and procurement negotiations/variations Managing subcontractor accounts Producing cost reports, quotes and raising purchase orders An individual with experience working on pre contract phase would be preferred, as the role would involve more Estimator related duties. They are seeking an Buyer to join their team to assist the Senior Buyer with the procurement of their projects. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, eager to learn and looking to develop their procurement skills.




Duties and Responsibilities:

•Work with the Estimating team to provide them with accurate costing of materials at the Tender stage

•Create and maintain meaningful Supplier Relationships including face to face contact. Build extensive base of trusted Suppliers

•Negotiate excellent prices and deals

•When a Tender is won, take responsibility for pulling together all materials required for each job, with detailed records prepared and maintained

•Produce a schedule of materials with a clear call off plan. Take responsibility for ensuring this is adhered to and report regularly on progress to the Project Lead

•Buy down from the call off plan

•Track, monitor and report on material progression from purchase through to Cardinal ownership

•Provide excellent communication on an ongoing basis to all stakeholders

•Have contingency plans to deal with unforeseen circumstances

•Place all orders in a timely fashion. Flag issues promptly and work with the team to overcome problems

•Place timely POs

•Follow H&S and ISO procedures on an ongoing basis

One of their most pressing requirements is for a Senior Landscape Architect in the Riyadh.

Key Responsibilities (Not limited to):

  • Preparation of preliminary sketches and design details for hardscape and softscape.

  • Mentor and monitor the project landscape team during the development of design works and control man-hours assigned to landscape team.

  • Liaising with clients, contractors and stakeholders.

  • Coordinate with in-house engineers and out of house sub consultants.

  • Prepare landscape and hardscape specifications, selection of materials, and selection of plants and contribute to the cost estimation process.

  • Prepare landscape design presentation(s) story boards and manage the presentation production and the sample boards.

  • Provide input to site supervision of landscape construction works such as; answer requests for design clarifications, review material submittals, attend site meetings and perform site inspections.

Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience within Landscape Architecture

  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture

  • Master’s degree or Post-Grad Diploma preferred but not essential

  • Experience of designing landscape projects from concept and prelim to construction documents

  • Middle East experience desirable
